Dr. Arika Easley-Houser recently received her Ph.D. in History in May 2014 from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in Brunswick with a concentration in American History, specializing in African American and Native American histories. She received her BA from Dartmouth College, her MA from Columbia University and pursued post-graduate coursework at New York University. She has taught college-level history courses for seven years and worked in student affairs for ten years in multicultural affairs, student advising, and residential life and education.
