Born in Inner Mongolia and raised in Beijing, Silvia has learned to appreciate diverse cultures since young. She came to the U.S. to study Journalism when she was 19, with a dream of being a magazine editor. Culture shock didn’t scare her away, instead, she has been active in involving campus extracurricular activities. She was nominated for Ohio University’s Charles J. Ping International Student Leadership Award in both her junior and senior years. Being a communication enthusiast, she went to Northwestern University to purse a master’s degree in Communication, focusing corporate operations. She currently works in TV production and lives in the capital city of the States, however, she never happen to encounter President Obama when buying McDonald's. At her spare time, she loves playing tennis and hanging out with friends. Also she's a real foodie!

She gained her bachelor degree at Ohio University, and got her offer for master studies at Northwestern University (Communication). She has also helped students with their college applications and they gained offers for Northeastern University and University of Tennessee. Her expertise are Communication and Journalism.
